Dallas Airport Offering Free Vaccines To All International Travelers
The Dallas Fort Worth International Airport in cooperation with the United States National Guard will be offering free Covid-19 vaccines to all international travelers and anyone who wants one. The free vaccines will be available at the airport until September 12th or as long as supplies last.
Airport authorities and airlines are already preparing for a massive increase in the number of travelers from Mexico. The airport is already recording a 135 percent increase in the number of travelers arriving from Mexico when compared to 2019 prior to the pandemic.
It’s not just Mexican nationals seeking a vaccine. Millions of Americans and Canadians that live in Mexico are flocking to the U.S. for their shots. The vaccine rollout in Mexico has been slow and some of the vaccines being offered by Mexican authorities are not recognized by the U.S. or Canada.
Types of Free Vaccines Being Offered
The Dallas airport will be offering 3 different types of vaccines for those who want one.
- Pfizer (2 shots required)
- Moderna (2 shots required
- Johnson & Johnson (1 shot required)
Location and Operating Hours of Free Vaccine Clinic At Dallas Airport
Hours of Operation: The free vaccine clinic will operate daily from 8:00 am until 4:00 pm.
Locations: Vaccine clinics will be set up in terminals B, E and D.
Walk-ins are welcome and appointments are not required.
Requirements To Get a Vaccine
The only requirement to receive the vaccine is to fill out an online digital form upon arrival.
Any traveler that is legally allowed to enter the United States may receive a free vaccine. Travelers do not need to be a U.S citizen.
Land borders between Mexico and the United States are still closed for non-essential traffic. Travelers looking to receive the free Covid-19 vaccines must arrive by air.
