International Films that was Shot in the Philippines

With the Philippines’ breathtaking landscapes and stunning islands, we can already picture the country fit for the big screen. And in fact, it has made its way through the international movie scenes featuring the Philippines’ cinematic beauty. We can easily see why film productions abroad have chosen the country as the setting of their movies. 

So enough with the buzz, we’re taking you to a stroll around the country where the most talked-about films were shot.

1. Avengers: Infinity War (US) – Banaue Rice Terraces

In the scene, Thanos (Josh Brolin) was walking outside the hut and looked on to the sunset. You’ll notice the terraced rice paddies and this is none other than the UNESCO World Heritage Site Banaue Rice Terraces in Ifugao Province, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World”
