Poland Removes All Entry Requirements
Poland Removes All Entry Requirements
Poland has repealed all Covid-related entry requirements, as well as the requirement to wear an indoor mask and quarantine if infected with Covid-19, as of (March 28)
Last Thursday (24 March), the country’s Health Minister, Adam Niedzielski, revealed the announcement, which implies that entering the country – and traveling about it – will feel more like it did before the pandemic.

There Are No Longer Any Covid-19 Entry Requirements For International Visitors
Because there are no longer any Covid-related entry requirements for international tourists entering Poland, travelers can now enter the country in the same way they did before the Covid-19 pandemic began.

However, since reopening for tourism purposes on June 13 2020, international visitors to the country had been subject to a number of entry requirements – which most recently required fully vaccinated arriving passengers to:
- show proof of full vaccination against Covid-19
- present a negative Covid-19 PCR or Rapid Antigen test upon arrival

- undergo Covid testing upon arrival – which was only applicable to Non-EU nationals, including visitors from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom
- complete a passenger locator form.
For unvaccinated travelers, however, there was previously a need to quarantine for 7 days upon arrival, as well as a requirement to adhere to the above same rules as fully vaccinated individuals.

Masks Are No Longer Required In Public Indoor Settings
From now on, you will no longer be legally required to wear a face mask in public indoor settings – which means that you can now enter public venues such as shopping malls, restaurants, bars and nightclubs mask-free.

People are still ‘recommended’ to use indoor masks in crowded areas, even though the indoor mask requirement for public venues – other than healthcare facilities – has been abolished.
Those Infected With Covid-19 No Longer Have To Quarantine

Individuals infected with Covid-19 – or who have come into close contact with an infected individual – are no longer obliged to isolate or quarantine themselves.
This includes visitors who arrive in the country, as quarantine is no longer required.

Poland Offers So Much For Tourists

With Poland’s remaining entry requirements and internal Covid-related restrictions removed, there’s little question that tourist numbers will increase in the near future – especially given the country’s abundance of attractions.

Other Countries That Have Recently Removed All Of Their Covid Entry Requirements
Poland is not the only European country to have eliminated its last Covid-19 entrance criteria, with Sweden being the most recent to do so, announcing just a few days ago that travelers will be able to enter without any restrictions starting April 1.

Other countries, both in Europe and around the world, have reinstated standard admission restrictions, and the list of these countries is growing.
