Chile Relaxes Covid Entry Requirements for Fully-Vaccinated
Chile has relaxed its Covid-19 entry rules for fully vaccinated arrivals.
From September 1 fully vaccinated visitors will no longer need to provide a negative PCR test or complete the C19 form before entering the country.
Genomic surveillance will be continue to maintained with random testing at the different points of entry into the country.
The country’s Minister of Health, Maria Begona Yarza, said: “From September 1, non-residents who enter the country will need proof of vaccination, issued in the country where they have been vaccinated, in addition to identity documentation.
“Visitors without up-to-date vaccinations will have to present a negative PCR issued within a maximum of 48 hours. This will guarantee safety on the flight and in the country.”
The changes are also “supported by the high rate of vaccination in the population”.
