Hong Kong Disneyland Resort | World of Frozen Land Open in Nov.

Hong Kong Disneyland Resort announced that the amusement park’s new Frozen-themed land would debut in November.

During a recent financial conference call, Hong Kong Disneyland managing director Michael Moriarty revealed the property’s local attendance and annual pass membership rose by 22 percent last year, despite the continued impact of coronavirus on international travel to Asia.

The highly anticipated Hong Kong Disneyland Resort – World of Frozen will make its debut at the Asian theme park in November, transporting guests to the magical world of Elsa, Anna and Olaf.

“The reimagined Castle of Magical Dreams and nighttime spectacular ‘Momentous’ have been game changers,” Moriarty said. “Additionally, the world’s first and biggest Frozen themed land, which will be launched later this year, will be a defining addition to our world-class attractions that help us win over locals and tourists alike.”

In addition, Hong Kong Disneyland shared new concept art showcasing Arendelle at sunset, as well as a closer look at Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs. Disney Parks shared more information on Twitter.

In addition to the new World of Frozen, theme park officials announced a slate of other new offerings for the second half of 2023, including the reopening of Disney’s Hollywood Hotel, the addition of a Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse statue and more.

Additionally, the theme park will review market conditions and adjust its operation to open six or seven days a week from mid-June to meet guest demand, giving them even more opportunities to experience the magic.
